Bomber Eric Rudolph Explains Guilty Plea

An attorney for Eric Robert Rudolph said his client is comfortable with his decision to plead guilty to a series of bombings, including a blast at a Southside abortion clinic that killed an off-duty police officer and maimed a nurse, and will explain in writing why he chose not to go to trial, the Birmingham News reports.

Maybe he should explain what prompted him to do it, eh? What drives these radical killers, trained by the U.S. military or Al Qaida?

At least Rudolph has an alibi for the London bombings in 2005 - but Georgie Bush doesn NOT... Remember Pentagon's 1960s Operation Northwoods to terrorize US cities to blame the Commies, and UN/NATO's 1980s Operation Gladio to bomb Western Europe into submission to blame the Commies. Don't forget MI5's Shaylergate in 1990s that British govt bombed London to blame IRA, as certified in Brit Parliament and courts. Bush Jr was NOT arrested after he assaulted a Scottish cop at the G8 (8 Gangsters) Summit, by running over him with a bicycle. And this guy was an Air Force PILOT? NOT!

Ken Livingstone, the Mayor of London, launched a stinging attack on President George Bush last night, denouncing him as the 'greatest threat to life on this planet that we've most probably ever seen'."

Website that carried al-Qaida claim has connections to Bush family

London Guardian | July 09 2005

The claim of responsibility for the London attacks was first posted on one of the dozens of Islamic websites that are routinely monitored by western intelligence services.

The statement, under the name of the Secret Organisation of the al-Qaida Jihad in Europe, said: "The heroic mujahideen have carried out a blessed raid in London.

Britain is now burning with fear, terror and panic in its northern, southern, eastern and western quarters."

It was posted on an Arabic website, al-qal3ah.com, which is registered by Qalaah Qalaah in Abu Dhabi and hosted by a server in Houston, Texas.

But two Israeli groups devoted to exposing the network of jihadist sites claim that it is connected to the London-based Saudi dissident Saad al-Faqih. Mr Faqih, who is based in Willesden, north-west London, and runs the Movement for Islamic Reform in Arabia (Mira), was designated by the US treasury last December as a supporter of al-Qaida. The UK Treasury followed suit by freezing Mr Faqih's assets.

Speaking in December 2004 before the assets were frozen, Mr Faqih ridiculed any idea that "millions of dollars" would be frozen. "I have no assets in the US and all I have in the UK is a current account with a few hundred pounds."

The US claimed that Mr Faqih was an associate of Khaled al-Fawwaz, who was arrested in Britain on a US extradition warrant for his alleged involvement in the 1998 east African embassy bombings.

The US said that "extremists utilise a website controlled by al-Faqih and Mira on messageboards to post al-Qaida-related statements and images. While Mira has issued disclaimers warning users to not attribute postings on Mira message boards to al-Qaida, information available to the US and UK governments shows that the messages are intended to provide ideological and financial support to al-Qaida affiliated networks and potential recruits."

Mr Faqih has always vigorously denied being involved with terrorism. Yesterday he was indignant about being linked to the website.

"It does not belong to me at all," he told the Guardian. "It is a Zionist smear."

He had seen the message on Thursday morning and doubted its authenticity. "It was only there for a few minutes, and they misquoted the Qur'an." He also said the website - or more accurately a bulletin board - could be used by anyone.

The server in Houston has intriguing connections. Everyone's Internet was founded by brothers Robert and Roy Marsh in 1998 and by 2002 had an income of more than $30m (now about ?17m).

Renowned for his charitable work, Roy Marsh counts among his friends President George Bush's former sister-in-law, Sharon Bush, and the president's navy secretary.

Everyone's Internet, which also hosts a number of pornographic sites, states: "We support the uncensored flow of information and ideas over the internet and do not actively monitor subscriber activity under normal circumstances."

However, the company has responded to requests to take down objectionable material and insists it cooperates with US law enforcement agencies.

AL QAEDA WEBSITE TRACKS BACK TO ... MARYLAND???

Last night on CNN I heard them making a connection between the London bombings and an ?Islamic terrorist? website called alneda.com. I tried to view the website but it?s been taken offline. I did find the following three year old reference to alneda.com on CNN.

"These statements and others from al Qaeda have been appearing from time to time on a Web site called www.alneda.com.

"In recent months, the site, which experts suspect is closely linked to al Qaeda, also has posted manifestos signed "al Qaeda jihad" in which it says bin Laden is alive and well and preparing future attacks against the United States.

U.K.'s Blair Rejects Call for Probe of London Blasts

Netanyahu Changed Plans Due To Warning

JERUSALEM - British police told the Israeli Embassy in London minutes before Thursday's explosions that they had received warnings of possible terror attacks in the city, a senior Israeli official said.

Israeli Finance Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had planned to attend an economic conference in a hotel over the subway stop where one of the blasts occurred, and the warning prompted him to stay in his hotel room instead, government officials said.

Foreign Minister Silvan Shalom said he wasn't aware of any Israeli casualties.

Just before the blasts, Scotland Yard called the security officer at the Israeli Embassy to say they had received warnings of possible attacks, the official said. He did not say whether British police made any link to the economic conference.

The official spoke on condition of anonymity because of the nature of his position.

The Israeli Embassy was in a state of emergency after the explosions in London, with no one allowed to enter or leave, said the Israeli ambassador to London, Zvi Hefet.

All phone lines to the embassy were down, said Danny Biran, an Israeli Foreign Ministry official.

The ministry set up a situation room to deal with hundreds of phone calls from concerned relatives. Thousands of Israelis are living in London or visiting the city at this time, Biran said.

Amir Gilad, a Netanyahu aide, told Israel Radio that Netanyahu's entourage was receiving updates all morning from British security officials, and "we have also asked to change our plans."

Netanyahu had been scheduled to stay in London until Sunday, but that could change, Gilad said.
