Bush Administration Opens National Forest Roads

The last 58.5 million acres of untouched national forests, which President Clinton had set aside for protection, were opened to possible logging, mining and other commercial uses on Thursday by the Bush administration, the Associated Press is reporting.

Where will the destruction end with this administration?

Experimenting with the comment feature still. It should be totally open and unmoderated with the current setting. Try it. There should be no delay now. We'll see if this works.

I would like to ask all out there in blogland a most serious question. I mean it--this is serious.

What, if anything, has President Bush done so far that is any good?

I swear I can't think of a single thing. Can you?

Now that you mention it, well, he did kiss the Saudi prince and hold his hand to try to get gas prices down. And even Bill Maher give the administration credit for hunting down al Qaida members. Other than that, let's see:

Economy = no good

Iraq War = no good

Environmental policies = just plain bad

Restoring integrity to the White House = no good. The world hates us even more.

What else?

Nothing in my view.

Hey I really like your site.
