The Bush Memorial Urinal Update

The Bunker spring cleaning is going so well and the weather is so fine it has been hard to care much about the news for the past couple of days.

The wall for the Bush Memorial Urinal is almost complete. Now we are trying to decide whether to go with a ceramic urinal, a stainless steel job or maybe even one of these newfangled waterless urinals.

We've figured what it is going to take to do the plumbing thanks to the wise counsel of Dr. Stan Coty.

It's good to see Tom Delay giving up on his Congressional race to go home and face the prosecution music. It's just one more right-wing conservative hypocrite out of the way.

We have noticed a spate of stories in the mainstream, legacy press of late about the plight of the poor in America under Bush. Here's one New York Times story worth noting, although it is obvious - judging first by the decision to charge for some content and now the recent redesign - that there has been a recent sea change in Times-land away from the overall regard for America's poor.

Well, it's supper time. See you when I get in the blogging mood again. With any luck, we'll be heading to the Gulf Coast this weekend for some bird banding action and to check up on the rabid overdevelopment going on there these days, according to our sources.

We'll put up photos of the Bush Memorial Urinal when it's complete.
