Alabama Outdoor Group Canoe Trip April 1

The Alabama Outdoor Group is sponsoring a canoe trip April 1 on the Locust Fork River, Section 1, near Snead in Blount County. It's a fairly easy float without classified rapids and views of wildflowers, islands and beaches. To hook up, meet at 9 a.m. at the Chevron station at the intersection of Alabama highways 79 and 160 in Cleveland. Reservations are required. Call Havis Johnson, 841-3627.
